It's Time to Create Your "New Normal"
It’s time to emerge from the fog and transform your life into the one you’ve been dreaming about. 

It’s time to create your “new normal.” I hesitated to even say that. Why? Because nothing about 2020 feels normal. NOTHING. It feels messy and ugly and confusing and angry and sad and a million other things that are literally any damn thing but normal.

If you’ve been following my social media posts, you know I’m big into getting what you want in the 7 major areas of your life. It’s something I learned from Dr. Dave Braun and Dr. Troy Amdahl—The OolaGuys—who teach how to create balance in our unbalanced world. I've been a big fan of Troy and Dave for as long as I've been involved with Young about six years. Even Clay is a big fan and he's hesitant to be a fan of much. 

If you know me very well at all, you'll know that my life has been a roller coaster of mess and chaos. But you know what? So is everyone else's. And through the years, I've learned a thing or two. Oola has been an influence on how I've worked some of those messes out. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a work in progress and I will be until the day I die. But, by God's grace I'm not who I was five years ago!

Now, as a Certified Oola Life Coach (and Clay on the way to becoming one himself!), I help clients address what’s not working for them in the areas of fitness, finance, field (career), family, faith, friends and fun. Then we go to work correcting those stressors and bringing about the lifestyle, relationships, and financial security they need to be happy, balanced and growing.

So what could the OolaLife look like for you? 

For the next few weeks, I’d like to challenge you to decide—then help you go to work overcoming the current stress of these crazy times we're in, and create your “new normal.”

Start Today: What’s Not Working
To begin our journey together, let’s take inventory. While tons of new stressors recently dropped into our lives, most people already had imbalances that kept stress at an all-time high. To begin, write down your list of what’s not working in your life, so you can refer back to it. I’ll tell you in the coming weeks how to begin lowering your stress level. For instance, are you struggling with:
Fitness: Excess weight? Poor nutrition? Infrequent exercise?
Finance: Crushing debt? No retirement plan? Too many bills?
Family: No boundaries? Marriage on life support? 
Field: Career stress? Job loss? Low pay or no benefits?
Faith: Poor relationship with God? No time for daily study?
Friends: Toxic friends that bring you down? No mentors?
Fun: No time for fun? Waiting until you’re older or retired?  

Whatever’s stressing you, make your list, then share below where you want to make changes (but hey, don't reveal super-personal details!). Soon, I’ll ask you to start dreaming (big time) about the “new normal” you want in these areas.
