Our subconscious mind is the part of our brain complex that determines our behavior. Although most people believe they come to their own conclusions in life, through a step by step process of logical analysis, this isn’t the case whatsoever. Our behavior is set into us by our environment. If the environment changes, we change. If the environment we live within is negative, we become negative. If the environment we live within is positive, we become positive. If our parents self-abused with junk food, cigarettes, coffee, alcohol, trash fire media, and medications…….we as well will self-abuse, (even though we may self-abuse in different ways.)
Our environment controls, carves, and directs our beliefs, actions, thoughts, ideas, and rituals. Our conscious mind, the part of the mind you’re reading this article with right now, is the ACTOR. As an actor, the conscious mind reads its script, which is written by the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is in turn controlled by the environment. The subconscious mind has one job and that is to scan the environment…..in order to determine what behaviors are safe to act out. The most repetitive behaviors and the behaviors that receive the most adoration by perceived authority or celebrity……..will rise to the top of the pile in regards to what behavior orders your conscious mind is given. Again, you’re an actor controlled by your subconscious…….which in turn is controlled by the environment.
The subconscious takes everything it sees in the environment, analyses it, and then manufactures your actions, beliefs, and behaviors……….which will keep you the safest, inside your particular living situation. So again, you really decide very little about what you do during a day and less so in your younger years. The weaker you are, the more in fear you are, the more out of shape you are, and the more polluted you are……the more your subconscious takes over trying to make sure you fit in, as a non-threat. (average, mediocre, underachieving)
If you live in a society of donut eating, coffee guzzling, overweight, depressed folks, who work jobs they hate plus they also tolerate unhealthy romantic unions because they want to blend in instead of being happy....the subconscious will make you addicted, depressed and miserable. The subconscious doesn’t care about happiness, satisfaction. spiritual growth or how long you live. The subconscious is in charge of you fitting in with your environment. A crummy environment sees you act out a crummy script and, of course, the opposite is true as well. One of the worst environmental impacts on the subconscious mind is trash fire media, which is always full of crisis, chaos, disaster, and misery. If you’ve ever wondered why some people just keep stepping into one bucket of crap and then quickly jump out into 2 more………..you need to understand that if the subconscious is full of disaster imagery and symbols, it has no choice but to pursue disaster. 5 minutes of good times, followed by 45 minutes of complete disaster is the recipe of every television show and movie. Always problems. Always conflict. Always more negative stuff compared to the positive stuff.
